We are just back from Maui and are MOST enthusiastic about your guide. We looked at several other guides and found them flat and commercial whereas yours is contoured and full of life. Your guide to walking trails are terrific. We gave our copy to some outdoor folks we met and have two guidebooks on order. David T, professor, Stanford University, January 2003
Collaboratively researched and written by travel experts Jerry and Janine Sprout, Maui Trailblazer is a genuinely excellent resource to great hikes, relaxing and adventurous activities, trailheads, nine driving tours available in sunny Maui, a part of Hawaii island group. The "user friendly" text is wonderfully enhanced with more than 200 black-and-white photographs, ten maps, a "Resource Links" section with contact information for accommodations, recreational outfitters, transportation resources, and general visitor information, as well as detailed summaries of the highlights of vacationing. If you are planning to visit Maui, begin your itinerary planning by browsing through this guidebook! Midwest Book Review, December 2002
Comprehensive, well researched by seasoned travel writers Jerry and Janine Sprout. Honolulu Star Bulletin, January 2003
It cost us more than $2000 for our Maui vacation. We are so happy we spent the extra fifteen bucks to make sure we had a good time when we got there. This book is good vacation insurance. We used it religiously for finding the best beaches to boogieboard and snorkel and totally relied on their listings to tell us where to stay and eat. We were never disappointed. It will keep you informed as well as entertained. GraceAnn Fletcher, January 2003
